Tasmania
Now We the People (Tasmania) is not a political party, nor is it aligned with any political party. Its members are, however, actively and passionately involved in the political process.

We believe in promoting the values of co-operation rather than competition, of respect for our biological environment rather than its exploitation for short-term profit, and of the non-violent resolution of conflicts rather than warmongering.

We welcome contributions, suggestions, donations and offers of practical assistance.

If you are concerned about the issues raised on this web site, or if in any other ways you wish to help make Australia a fairer, more compassionate nation with policies that are aimed at serving the needs of people and respecting this planet and its inhabitants, here are some practical steps you can take:
  • Contact your local State or Federal MP and Senators, asking them where they stand on these issues
  • Write to newspapers, comment in online forums and call in to talkback radio
  • Convene a community meeting on these matters and on strategies for action. (Contact Now We the People for help and materials)
